Meals and treats are welcomed at daycare. Please label non-breakable container with full name and meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner).
For first day, we accept a blanket and a chew toy from home to help ease anxiety. Please do not send belongings after the first daycare visit.
All daycare pups are provided a water bowl, a food bowl, and blanket, if applicable.
Fill up your pup's boarding room with the comforts of home. Beds, blankets, toys, chews, treats, and an item from their human's dirty laundry basket can help soothe anxiety.
Please bring your pup's regular food. Changing food can upset the tummy; an upset tummy can add extra stress to the visit.
If you are concerned about your pup not eating while they are away from home, please bring whatever special additions that you use at home to entice your pup to eat their meal.
Try to have your pup attend daycare a few times before boarding. Daycare helps pups acclimate to the facility, staff, dogs, and our routine. After a few days of daycare, a boarding stay just seems like a longer day of daycare.
Please try to drop off your pup as early in the arrival day as possible. (We start receiving boarding arrivals at 9am.) A full day of play tires out everyone and ensures a good, stress-free, night of rest.
Up-to-date Vaccination & License records are required to attend Paw Plaza, which should include:
While we do allow intact males and females...
Paw Plaza Specializes in "Play-Care"
Dogs that attend Paw Plaza are required to be part of playgroups with approximately 9 other dogs. Paw Plaza will not accommodate dogs that must remain by themselves and not attend play sessions.
Paw Plaza reserves the right to disqualify any dog from Daycare & Boarding for reasons noted, but not limited to the examples provided (see termination section of contract for additional information).
Three Strike Rule:
Paw Plaza applies a three-strike rule for all attendees. This rule allows for three incidents to occur prior to disqualification from Paw Plaza services, though may allow fewer strikes dependent on the severity of the situation.
Please be advised that due to Ollie's Law, the Sturbridge ACO requires Paw Plaza to have a Certificate of Rabies Vaccination & the City/Town License on file for your dog if they are in our care.
We kindly ask that these documents are provided to Paw Plaza if not done so already, so as to keep your furry friends records current and in good order.
Paw Plaza appreciates your attention, so that we may be compliant with the ACO as well as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
